Summer Programs 2022: June 6-July 1
Our full-day summer camp supports the Great Hearts mission in an engaging environment focused on inspiring creativity and deepening a sense of wonder through action-packed themes. Each week incorporates topics including science, math, art, literature, athletic skills, and more. Campers will laugh as they compete in crazy camp games, sing silly campfire songs, enjoy engaging activities, and make new friends. It’s a traditional summer camp experience with a classical twist!
Kinder Readiness is designed to acclimate incoming Kindergarten students to the Archway Schools, Great Hearts curriculum, and the academy teachers. Each week scholars will practice and gain confidence in the skills needed in Kindergarten alongside new friends.
Summer Programs for all Archway Trivium East and West scholars will be hosted at Trivium West located at 2001 N. Bullard Ave, Goodyear, AZ 85395
One-time registration fee is non-refundable. No refunds after May 1st. $15 change fee per camp. Registration closes at 6:00pm on the Wednesday before camp begins (dates listed below). No late registrations will be accepted. Siblings must be purchased in the same transaction to receive the sibling discount.
A Summer Camp 2022 shirt is included with your registration fee. You may also purchase additional ‘vintage’ Summer Camp shirts for just $5.00 each here.

Kinder Readiness:
Grades: For Incoming Kinder (and Wait-Listed Kinder) Students Only
Students must be at least 4 years old and fully potty-trained.
Space is limited! We highly suggest registering early to reserve your space.
Kinder Readiness is designed to acclimate incoming Kindergarteners to the Archway Schools and the Great Hearts curriculum. Kinder Readiness will introduce letter names, letter sounds, letter formation, print awareness, number sense, and the importance of the Archway virtues. Kinder Readiness runs Monday through Friday from 8:00am-12:00pm.
With a unique curriculum each week, you can register for one week, or all four weeks of Kinder Readiness to help your kindergarten scholar prepare for the exciting year ahead!

Summer Camp
Each week of our full-day camp will feature a unique theme for 1st-5th grades with exciting activities based on the wide range of interests– science, math, art, literature, athletic skills, etc. Whether you register for one week, or all four, it is bound to be an experience to remember!
Week 1 (June 6-10) – Adventures in Space: Be ready to blast off for a week full of adventure! Packed with STEM activities, this hands-on camp will give campers the opportunity to experiment with and test ideas related to constellations, the solar system, gravity, rockets, and more.
Week 2 (June 13-17) – Farm to Table: In our journey from “Farm to Table”, campers will learn what it means to grow, harvest, raise, and preserve food. Campers will rediscover lost skills of farming and use science to see nature at work in our food. Campers will bring home all the natural goods they crafted at the ‘farm’ to share!
Week 3 (June 20-24) – Super Citizens!: “Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.” Ralph Waldo Emerson’s words set the stage for this week of camp. Campers will be encouraged to embrace the mindset of being a ‘Super Citizen’. They will look at those who have made a difference through art, service, and the various ways people practice their culture worldwide. Throughout the week, campers will become real life superheroes as they consider ways to serve communities both locally and across the globe.
Week 4 (June 27-July 1) – Myths, Marvels, and Martial Arts: Eastern Asia has given us many treasures to behold. During the week, campers will explore the myths, marvels, and martial arts from this corner of the globe. Activities include ancient fine art forms, karate, mindfulness, and more. Campers will be challenged artistically, physically, and mentally.

Q. Do Summer Programs provide lunch and/or snack?
No. We ask that you pack your scholar a lunch and snack(s) for all Summer Programs.
Q. What is the dress code for Summer Programs?
DRESS CODE: Our Summer Camp dress policy is different from our regular academy dress code:
SHIRTS: Students may wear any GHA Summer shirt, GHA spirit shirt, GHA athletic shirt or any SOLID colored shirt.
SHORTS: Students may wear plain, logo-free, uniform-style shorts in khaki, black or navy. They may also wear navy or black athletic shorts. All shorts must reach mid-thigh and cannot be form fitting (no bike shorts or gymnastic apparel). Uniform pants are allowed.
FOOTWEAR: Students may wear plain, solid color tennis shoes. Shoes that make noise, shoes that light up, and open-toed shoes are NOT permitted.
Students in violation of the dress code will not be permitted to participate in the program and parents will be called to pick up or drop clothes off.
Q. What if my summer plans change? Can I get a refund?
Camp fees are refundable until May 1st. No refunds will be issued after May 1st. Any refunds issued before May 1st will be less registration fees. There is a $15 change fee for changing camp dates.
